Hello, Friends! I sometimes like to say that fall is my favorite color. I am so glad that the fall season and cooler weather are upon us. I am happy to share with you my newest design, “Welcome Autumn”. It was designed for a wool appliqué class and is now available to all of our customers.
We are busy preparing to attend the Great Wisconsin Quilt Show on September 8-10, 2022, in Madison, Wisconsin. We are looking forward to seeing our quilting friends again. We would love for you to stop by to see us.
We are also planning to attend the Great River Quilt Show, September 16-17, 2022, in Davenport, Iowa. We hope to see you there!

Our new wool applique door hanger, Welcome Autumn, features pumpkins, gourds and corn. The kit includes all of the wool to complete this wall hanging, as well as the cotton backing.

We have been busy making up some new cotton stick packs and cotton variety packets. These are great when you need a variety of small pieces for hand-piecing scrappy quilts. They work very well with our patterns by Karen Styles shown below, which make perfect projects to take with you when you want to do a little stitching on-the-go.
Foldable Mini Boxes
We have restocked these useful foldable mini boxes and now have new colors available!
Show and Tell
On the second Wednesday of each month, we host “Wooly Wednesday”, where we gather with friends in our back room and stitch or hook together. We have a show-and-tell time where we share what we have completed or what we are working on. We have had some outstanding projects shared and thought we’d share a couple of them. If you would like to join us for Wooly Wednesday, give us a call at 319-668-2642 to reserve your space.
Aren’t these sheep fun? Our friend did a wonderful job on “Counting Sheep”, one of our favorite and most popular quilt designs.
Look at these fun wool applique box toppers,”Cosmos Box Top“ and “Sheep & Willow“. It makes us happy to see others enjoying our designs as much as we do. Nicely done!
